SolarPath Sun Solutions is committed to providing a website with accessibility experience for all users of all abilities, including those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and alternative input devices to navigate the web.

Ongoing Efforts to Ensure Accessibility

We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 Level AA as our guiding standard. These internationally recognized guidelines define how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. As we add new pages and features, we continue to review and test our designs, code, and content to ensure accessibility is maintained.

Our accessibility checks are performed using:

  • Accessibility Checker (WordPress plugin)

  • Color contrast analyzers

  • Keyboard-only navigation

  • Flesch-Kincaid readability tools

Accessibility Features on Our Website

To help improve usability for all visitors, we’ve implemented the following features:

  • Keyboard-navigable menus and buttons

  • Clear visual focus indicators for interactive elements

  • Alt text on all meaningful images

  • Descriptive ARIA labels and roles for screen readers

  • Logical heading structure for easier navigation

  • Responsive design across devices and screen sizes

  • “Skip to content” link for keyboard users

  • Planned: Accessibility button for adjusting contrast, font size, and more (via Enable Accessibility)

Where We’re Improving

We are currently working to improve:

  • Consistent application of alternative text on all new media uploads

  • Keyboard focus order on certain dynamic elements

  • Color contrast compliance in selected page sections

  • Testing third-party embedded content for accessibility

We review these areas regularly and update our site accordingly.

Third-Party Content

Please note that while we strive to ensure accessibility on our site, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party websites or embedded tools we may link to or use. This includes embedded content such as Google Maps, which may occasionally trigger accessibility errors (e.g., missing alternative text in image maps) due to their internal structure. We provide descriptive context and alternative access whenever possible to minimize any barriers.
